About Lucas Bessoni

 Lucas began his journey in the automotive industry at the age of 16 as an apprentice for Volvo in Brazil. By 18 he had already earned a Gold medal at the Brazillian National Vocational Competition for car painting. His exceptional talent and dedication have been recognized globally including a first place finish at the SATA Challenge, and the prestigious Medallion of Excellence at the 2017 World Skills Competiton in Abu Dhabi. these achievements caught the attention of the Abu Dhabi governnemt, leading to his appointment as the lead instructor for the Abu Dhabi BASF Training Academy.

 Under his expert guidance, the UAE team has achieved remarkable results:

Gold Medal - 2018 Northern European Competiton

Gold Medal - 2023 World Skills Abu Dhabi

Silver Medal - 2024 Global Skills Challenge Melbourne

 Lucas continues to train painters worldwide under BASF's premium brand, Glasurit.
